Hi All,
We have had a great first two weeks of school. Our classroom is full of respectful, hard-working, kind, curious kiddos. They are already so capable of working well together both within their own grade level and in mixed grade groupings. They are respectful and on task when I am teaching different material to their peers and they are teaching and learning from one another already as well. I look forward to meeting you all at Back-to-School Night next Thursday. I will be going over the structure of our day, curriculum, field trips, homework, etc., then. If you have any questions beforehand, please feel free to email me.
Many of you have asked if I have a wish list yet. I will have a list posted at Back-to-School Night and any items you are able to contribute to our classroom are very appreciated. Donations to our classroom fund are also very helpful and help me get reimbursed for items I have already purchased, as well as supplement our curriculum with more hands-on science, art, projects, etc. In the interim between now and next week, I welcome any donations of tissues, baby/sanitizing wipes, and clean used or new socks (for use as white board erasers).
